On Monday, July 25, late at night, a Muslim kid, 15, passed away while receiving medical care at Kanpur’s Murari Lal Chest Hospital. Dilshan alias Raja, a resident of Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh’s Madaiya West under Chhibramau Kotwali, was allegedly killed by his teachers after beating repeatedly.

Recently, police confirmed that the student’s autopsy report listed cardiorespiratory failure and chronic lung disorder as the cause of death.

Meanwhile, the left media outlets which had been short of content to post during the numerous killing that happened in the name of religion had certainly quoted the family as saying that the boy was beaten to death by three teachers of a school in Madaiya village of Kannauj district when he went there to request admission on suspicion of stealing a watch.

On July 27, Kannauj Superintendent of Police, Kunwar Anupam Singh, spoke about the incident and acknowledged in a video clip that after filing an FIR in the aforementioned matter, the police had sent the deceased student’s body for a post-mortem.
There were no visible signs of injuries on the deceased’s body, according to the autopsy report. Chronic pulmonary illness was cited as the reason for death. The claims of torture and abuse have been proven to be untrue. The SP added that the police are actively looking into the matter and that any subsequent actions will be based on the available information.

It should be noted that the media outlets, including NDTV, Hindustan Times, and Times of India, highlighted the family’s allegations that the 15-year-old boy was allegedly killed by three teachers at a school in Madaiya village, Kannauj district, on suspicion of stealing a watch when he went there to apply for admission. They reported in a similar manner.

Since the victim in the aforementioned case was a Muslim, a media portal named as Maktoob Media took advantage of the chance to portray Muslims as victims by emphasizing the boy’s religion in the headline. It headlined the report, “UP: Muslim boy beaten to death by teachers, police begin a probe.” Interestingly, the report published by the Islamist propaganda portal was dated July 28, a day after the Kannauj police revealed that the death was not due to assault but because of chronic lung disorder.

According to the complaint, Dilshan was summoned by teacher Shivkumar Yadav and charged with stealing a watch. The complaint claims that Shivkumar, his coworkers Prabhakar and Vivek Yadav then imprisoned Dilshan inside a room and attacked him. Jahangir claimed that Dilshan had internal wounds and had fainted upon returning from school after vomiting.

When responding to the complaint, SP Kunwar Anupam Singh stated that they were also looking into if the death was the result of an assault. The postmortem results were released two days later, and they indicated that he had supposedly died of tuberculosis.

According to the autopsy report, the youngster named Dilshan died of tuberculosis, which Chief Medical Officer Vinod Kumar also confirmed on Wednesday. He said, “There was no trace of contusion or abrasion observed on the body; both of his lungs had puss deposits.”
