Right after Kanhaiya Lal, a Hindu tailor was brutally murdered by Islamists in Udaipur, Rajasthan, another Hindu man named Vicky Bharadwaj was stabbed on his chest with a sharp object by Islamists in the Palwal area of Haryana. The victim was taken to the hospital right afterwards and is now receiving treatment.

The accused have reportedly been identified as Anjum, whose father’s name is Suleman, and Bilal, who fled the scene after the crime. Anjum and Bilal were accompanied by 5 to 6 people who are also missing, police stated. The police have filed a FIR in connection with the crime and a search operation is underway.

According to reports, the incident happened on Tuesday, June 28 when the victim was travelling back from Delhi and was attacked by the suspects close to the Golaya Public School in Palwal. The victim’s father filed the report and stated that Vicky had been to Delhi to buy supplies for his mobile shop. He didn’t came back until late in the day. The father in the complaint stated, “Later, at around 1 am, I was informed that my son had been attacked by the 5 or 6 people.”

He continued by saying that while he was in the hospital, he questioned Vicky about the specific sequence of events. Vicky said, “I was returning in my car from Delhi when I met some of my friends at the district bus stop. I offered them to drop at their destination and went to Camp with them. My car was stopped by some of the miscreants at the Golaya Public School at around 12:15 am. Suddenly 5-6 of them started beating me”. He also identified one of the accused as Anjum and said that his father’s name was Suleman, a resident of Sheikhpura, Palwal.

The police are conducting an investigation and have filed a FIR under Indian Penal Code sections 148, 149, 307, 324, 341, and 506.

The incident was caused by interpersonal conflict and was not of a community nature, according to the local police. They reported that while the victim and his friends were having fun, another group was partying nearby. Each group consisted of five to six people. Investigations are being conducted, according to ADGP South Range Rewari on June 30.
