Soon after a scathing indictment by Delhi High Court lashing out on abject dereliction of duty by CM Arvind Kejriwal’s government in Delhi in handling the second wave of Corona pandemic leading to several deaths due to lack of Medical Oxygen supply and other medical facilities, BJP leader Kapil Mishra has sent an written complaint to the Delhi Police Commissioner for filing a FIR against the Delhi CM for criminal negligence causing several deaths in Delhi.

Kapil Mishra’s letter dated 27th May, to the Commissioner of Police for registration of FIR against CM Arvind Kejriwal and other concerned Delhi government officials for their gross criminal negligence causing thousands of deaths and utter mayhem in India’s capital city.

Mishra in his letter, criminal negligence of the Delhi government headed by Kejriwal, for not bothering to set up Medical Oxygen Plants in Delhi despite all the approvals and funds being made available by the Centre for the purpose.

Mishra also seeks an FIR for the criminal negligence of the Delhi government in diverting oxygen meant for hospitals like Jaipur Golden Hospital causing deaths of several patients due to acute shortage of medical oxygen.

Mishra’s complaint states that the Delhi High Court’s order and averments made in the court by oxygen suppliers like INOX and hospitals like Jaipur Golden Hospital, Batra Hospital, Gangaram Hospital etc. clearly indicates that oxygen supply was affected due to criminal negligence and incorrect orders issued by the Delhi government.

Mishra states in his letter that the statements given by the stakeholders in the court and media reports are sufficient evidence to register an FIR against Delhi CM and his administration for gross criminal negligence. There is also a need to fix an accountability for several deaths of Delhi residents as a result of utter negligence of the CM and his administration.

Mishra also seeks in his letter an investigation into the misuse of public funds by the Delhi CM, Arvind Kejriwal for splurging huge amount of public money for self-promotion by giving a deluge of advertisements in the media.

Mishra further requested the Delhi Police to look into a possible scam in advertising money spent by Kejriwal government and possibilities of kickbacks and Commissions for the same.

Kapil Mishra also wanted the Delhi government to pay compensation for victims who died in Delhi due to lack of oxygen and dereliction of duty by the Delhi government.
