Yesterday after the death of terrorist Syed Ali Shah Geelani, “terrorism sympathizer” media started his glorification. Terms like fighter, revolutionary, activist, rebel were constantly used to refer Syed Ali Shah Geelani, a man who was responsible for the exodus of lakhs of innocent Kashmiri Hindus. As usual the “The Caravan” magazine again came forward to whitewash the black deeds of Syed Ali Shah Geelani.”The Caravan” refered to him as the son of a poor labourer the same way “terrorism sympathizer” media refered Burhan wani as the son of a “headmaster” and a cricket lover.”The Caravan” is its article showered uncountable praises for Geelani and showed how he became the hero of local Kashmiris. It’s shocking to witness a magazine which runs in India eulogizing a figure no less than Osama Bin Laden and sadly it’s not the first time .

Geelani was the person because of whom thousands of soldiers lost their life and their families had to undergo immeasurable pain. Syed Ali Shah Geelani wanted to merge Kashmir with Pakistan and therefore in order to achieve his dream he pushed innocent Kashmiri youth towards violence and bloodshed in the name of “jihad”. Geelani spearheaded the seperatist movement in Jammu and Kashmir for over three decades .Kashmiriyat died when certain misguided elements were radicalized enough to pick up the gun and kill neighbours & destroy families and the death of Kashmiriyat should be put onto the shoulders of Syed Ali Shah Geelani. Geelani will be known for the blood and destruction in Kashmir. Geelani will be known for the Exodus of innocent Kashmiri Hindus. Geelani will be known for the rapes Kashmiri Hindu girls had to undergo. He will be remembered for Neelkanth Raina. He will be remembered for Geerja Kumari Tikko. He will be remembered for KL Ganju and his wife. Geelani’s death is the end of brutal chapter of bloodshed. Kashmir is the Civilizational crown which Bhartiyaas should protect at every cost.
