Breach of privilege notice has been sent to the Speaker of Lok Sabha against the Deputy Commissioner of Chatra, Jharkhand. Bihar’s Gaya MP Vijay Kumar has made this complaint. Many serious allegations have been leveled against the Deputy Commissioner. Action has been demanded from the Speaker of Lok Sabha in this regard.

A complaint has been made against the Deputy Commissioner of Jharkhand’s Chatra district, Abu Imran, to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla by the MP of Gaya Lok Sabha constituency, Bihar, Vijay Kumar. He has demanded the Speaker of the Lok Sabha to take action against the Deputy Commissioner in the matter of protocol and breach of privilege. Earlier, Palamu MP VD Ram had also complained to the Lok Sabha Speaker against the Deputy Commissioner. In this way, for the second time, a complaint has reached the Speaker of the Lok Sabha against the Deputy Commissioner.

The Deputy Commissioner abused the MP, for parking the car

In the complaint, the MP has mentioned that he had gone to meet the Superintendent of Police at Chatra Collectorate on July 11. His car was parked by the driver outside the office. At the same time the Deputy Commissioner of Chatra, Abu Imran came there and started scolding him for parking the car. When his driver told the Deputy Commissioner of Chatra that it was the vehicle of MP Vijay Kumar, even after that the Deputy Commissioner abused them and threatened to seize the vehicle. He also checked the documents of the driver and the vehicle forcefully.

Allegation – Humiliated for being a Dalit

According to MP Vijay Kumar, the behavior and language of Deputy Commissioner Abu Imran was not in accordance with parliamentary decorum, despite knowing that it was the vehicle of an MP who hails from the Dalit community. He was humiliated publicly for being a Dalit and it has hurt his image in public life. The Deputy Commissioner did not even consider it necessary to negotiate in a manner. He has demanded from the Lok Sabha Speaker that an inquiry should be conducted against the Deputy Commissioner of Chatra through the breach of privilege committee. He has also given a copy of the complaint letter to the Chairman of the Committee of Privileges of Lok Sabha, Sunil Kumar Singh.

Palamu MP VD Ram has also complained

Let us inform you that this is not the first case against Deputy Commissioner Abu Imran. Earlier, Palamu MP VD Ram had also complained to the Speaker of the Lok Sabha, in this regard. The hearing of that matter is being heard by the Chairman of the Committee of Privileges, MP Sunil Kumar Singh. MP VD Ram had alleged that he had stayed at the Circuit House for some time while he was on his way to Ranchi. During this, Deputy Commissioner Abu Imran found that there was a jam situation due to some vehicles parked at the entrance. After this, he confiscated the license of the vehicle of the Zilla Parishad member Pramod Singh, who was accompanying the MP. Not only this, he kept the key of the car with him. The MP tried to convince the Deputy Commissioner, but he didn’t listen. Later, Abu Imran got the driver to write on a plain paper that the vehicle was parked in the wrong parking lot. After this apology, the license and key were returned. MP VD Ram had also alleged that despite his presence at the Circuit House, Deputy Commissioner Abu Imran did not even meet.
