Foreign celebrities through their paid tweets against India is spreading half baked information as they all together aimed at creating a discord among Indians who are living peacefully in a great country like India . Through their tweets they are trying to incite the farmers of India.

International Pop Icon Rihanna who has over 100 million followers on Twitter, posted a tweet asking why isn’t there a discussion on the ongoing farmers’ protest in India.

There intent earlier was an indulgence in fear-mongering and to lie to the Muslims in India that they are under threat from the Hindus because it is led by a political party and a political leader reportedly from a Hindu nationalist party. In the last six-years of Narendra Modi being the Prime Minister of India, I have seen the government work more for the welfare of the Muslims and Christians than the Hindus.But when that plan failed now your next target is farmers of India.

As soon as Rihanna brought global attention to the ongoing farmers’ agitation, a number of international celebrities started showing solidarity towards the protest.

So called Teen climate activist Greta Thunberg and US Vice President Kamala Harris’ niece were among several people who came out in support of the farmers’ protest against the farm reform laws.

As Delhi Police raised concrete barricades at the border points around Delhi where farmers have been agitating for months and also shut down internet services, Rihanna took to the social media platform to gather support for the agitation with the hashtag — #FarmersProtest.

Bollywood superstars Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn & Sunil Shetty have now joined the Centre’s call to stand united against “propaganda” against India’s policies.


Also Actor and singer Diljit Dosanjh is considered as Khalistani as he intentionally released a new song praising popstar Rihanna. Titled ‘RiRi’, a reference to the singer’s nickname, the song features music by Intense with lyrics by Raj Ranjodh.

The statement by the Ministry of External Affairs came with the farmers’ protest getting the international spotlight, as global icons such as Rihanna and Greta Thunberg tweeted about it. Among others who posted about the ongoing agitation was a US Congressman and a UK MP.

“Before rushing to comment on such matters, we would urge that the facts be ascertained, and a proper understanding of the issues at hand be undertaken.”

 It is very unfortunate to see vested interest groups trying to enforce their agenda on these protests, and derail them. This was egregiously witnessed on January 26, India’s Republic Day. A cherished national commemoration, the anniversary of the inauguration of the Constitution of India, was besmirched, and violence and vandalism took place in the Indian capital.
