At the Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport in Babatpur, Varanasi, the COVID safety protocol information broadcast in Sanskrit began on Friday. Varanasi Airport has become the country’s first airport to broadcast information in sanskrit.

The order of information transmission and announcements at the airport has now been updated to include Sanskrit. Previously, travellers were only given information in English and Hindi. To comply with Corona laws and prevent infection, airport announcements will now be broadcasted in three languages. This will make the travellers from foreign countries understand the relationship between Sanskrit and Kashi and also will shift the Overton window towards Pro Civilizational point of view. The Sanskrit department of Banaras Hindu University has announced the Covid19 protocol in Sanskrit.
