Subject: Death of a Boy

Anurag Poddar was killed by a bullet few days ago. A young boy of 18 with a hope of this country being safe for Hindus at the very least from the hands of Hindus. Many people die every day, almost 25,000 a day but why does it feel different? Not long ago Chandan Gupta was killed in Kasganj, U.P, while celebrating India’s Independence day, taking part in a celebratory procession which happened to enter a minority locality chanting Bharat Mata ki Jai. This time it was Anurag but he was killed by the hands of police or “unknowns” because he dared to be a devotee of Maa Durga and held sacred the way her Idol was supposed to be immersed in Holy Ganga. But why was the administration so eager to end the procession, what motive they had for the immersion to be done at that very time and could not have been delayed by an hour or so? This high handedness of Bihar government’s darling Superintendent of Police and the silence of Chief Minister and home minister hurts. What happened was unnecessary, uncalled for and brutal. The beating of devotees surrounding and protecting the Idol by the police and CRPF personnel was barbaric and represented the Christian imperialistic forces which ravaged India not so long ago.  I am sure if anyone sees the video they will not remain unmoved and will  be unable to control their raw emotion. It was the epitome characteristic of a police force which still has not shed its British Raj philosophy of controlling Hindu masses by brutal lathi charges.

Police beating Devotees in Munger

What did the party in power and his leader the supposed Hindu hriday samrat did, he simply kept quiet and forgot to mention it. BJP wants our vote but at what cost am I willing to give it to them? Only at the cost of safety of Hindus and to let us Hindus enjoy and feel protected in celebrating our vivid festivals. The supposed Hindu party government failed to protect the very Hindu culture it appropriates. You BJP, will not get my vote, in fact you will not get 22 votes of my close friends and their families. We are the residents of Digha vidhan sabha and Danapur vidhan sabha constituency and henceforth we boycott you in this election. We can not in right conscience vote for RJD as they have formed an alliance with CPI(ml) and Congress. This time we are 22 but rest assured if this incident goes unchecked, next time we will be 220. I will not accuse the CM of Bihar as he has shown his true colour many times in the past but it is you who is silent will bear the burden of this death and brutal beating of the worshipers. Oppressors  get their power from the silent supporters and you the central Home Minister led by a General who is always silent even more when his soldiers are mauled and berated. To all RSS, BJP,  VHP, Bajrang Dal, as a third generation Sanghi, I am listening to your silence and it is deafening.
