Witnesses described how the mysterious individual removed goods from Partha Chatterjee’s home and placed them in large gunny bags. They stated that the thieves allegedly left a gas cylinder in front of the bungalow’s gate.

According to ABP Ananda, Jamal Ali Mollah, a neighbor, reported seeing three to four males enter the building via a car at around 1:30 in the morning. He stated, “I observed three to four males climbing the perimeter wall. They mistreated me and told me to go home.” Sohini Chatterjee, the daughter of Partha Chatterjee, is the property’s owner, who lives in the US, emphasized Abu Taher Sardar, the building’s caretaker.

He further said that the ex-TMC leader and his wife had not been to their Baripur home for many years. The police arrived at the crime scene as soon as they were informed of the situation and took the gas cylinder.

Sujan Chakraborty, the head of the CPI(M), has claimed that the theft incident was staged in order to tamper with the evidence. He asserted, “It might be an effort by Trinamool leaders to get rid of damaging paperwork before the ED gets there.”

According to ABP Ananda, Communist Party members demonstrated in front of Partha Chatterjee’s home in Baripur, and later turmoil was created When TMC workers arrived.
