Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief, Raj Thackeray held a mega rally in Aurangabad’s Marathwada Sanskrutik Mandal on 1st May which is marked as a Maharashtra day. The mega rally was held amid the ongoing loudspeaker row.

One of the best lines which Raj Thackeray said was “He (Pawar) always uses photos of Phule Shāhu Ambedkar. Never of Shivaji Maharaj. We respect Phule Shāhu Ambedkar but remember they could exist only because of Shivaji Maharaj and what he did 200 years before them.”

Raj Thackeray further said “This Maharashtra gave us freedom fighters and gave a lot to our country. Today Maharashtra’s politics is going through a bad phase. Sharad Pawar says that we are against the country. Pawar Sahab you are doing hate politics of caste & religion.
