Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena, who has ordered a CBI inquiry against the Arvind Kejriwal government on the issue of liquor in Delhi, has now given advice to the government regarding water. After the complaint received in a consulate regarding the problem of water, the Lieutenant Governor has asked the Chief Secretary to take immediate action. He has told Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal that such incidents bring a bad name to the country.

This information was given by the LG office on Friday. A copy of the complaint received from the Consulate of Montenegro has also been shared. The LG office said, “There have been complaints about non-supply of water from the Consulate of Montenegro, non-receipt of tankers and getting dirty water at low pressure from Delhi Jal Board. The Chief Secretary has been asked to resolve the issue immediately. CM Arvind Kejriwal has been advised to look into such issues which are maligning India’s image in the world.”

What has been sent

The complaint sent to the LG from the Montenegro Consulate states, “We are making a humble request to you, there is no water in the consulate for two days. Delhi Jal Board has said that they will send water tankers, but no action has been taken. The water supply is low pressure and contaminated. Kindly address this as it is affecting work in India’s diplomatic mission.”

Conflict is going on with LG’s office

LG has advised the Delhi government regarding water supply at a time when conflicts have come to the fore on many issues recently. The LG has recently recommended a CBI inquiry into the new excise policy of the Delhi government. After this the Delhi government had to decide to return to the old policy.
