The Chairman of NCPCR,Priyank Kanoongo took cognizance and sends notice to School Education Department of MP over a page of class 7 political science book which labels Hindus as arrogant and xenophobic.

    A page in a class 7 book of political science book indirectly shows Hindus as arrogant and xenophobic. That particular page narrates down a story of a prosperous Muslim couple, Mr and Mrs Ansari who looks for a home in rent. The couple meets a property dealer who makes them meet some lardlords who were willing to give their respective houses in rent. But those lardlords refuses to give the couple their home in rent by looking at their religion. After facing many rejections finally the property dealer gives the couple a suggestion to change their name from Mr and Mrs Ansari to Mr and Mrs Kumar in order to hide their muslim identity.

    These things creates a wrong impression of Hindu society in front of small innocent children studying in schools and make them feel apologatic of their own identity.
