A FIR has been registered against controversial former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and Congress leader Kamal Nath for his highly questionable remarks using the term ‘Indian Corona’ to refer to the current mutation of the virus plaguing India causing heavy casualties.

A case has been registered under section 188 (disobedience to an order duly promulgated by the public servant) of the IPC 54 (punishment for spreading wrong information) of the Disaster Management Act, 2005 for spreading misleading information over Covid-19.

Kamal Nath did not mind demean India for scoring petty political points over the BJP as he made objectionable references to the pandemic by calling Corona an Indian variant saying, “scientists are calling it, only BJP advisers are not accepting it”. He also said, “While we are saying Chinese Corona, now we are facing Indian Corona.” He further tried to reiterate by saying, “Today UK has banned flight from India due to Indian Corona”.

The BJP strongly criticised Kamal Nath by pointing out that the WHO has stated that it does not associate any variants of the virus with any country. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare had earlier issued a statement that referring to B.1.617 variant of Covid as “Indian variant” by the media was without any basis and unfounded.

Kamal Nath’s Corona statement came a day after his highly incendiary video asking his partymen to burn up the country, “Aag laga do”, over farmer agitation became viral. His statement raised outrage over his diabolical strategy to put the nation in further turmoil during a raging pandemic by inciting violence. It reminded of the infamous allegations against him for his role in the anti-Sikh 1984 riots.

Shivraj Singh Chouhan had severely condemned Kamal Nath’s jibes on”Indian Corona” and asked whether it amounted to Sedition. He stated, “Will this not lower the country’s respect and does it not amount to Sedition?”

There is a method in Congress’ wild calumnious propaganda against Modi government and BJP. Kamal Nath’s coinage, ‘Indian Corona’ is actually proving the genuineness of the leaked diabolical Congress’ Tool Kit strategy to defame Modi and India globally as one of its main thrusts was to call the B.1.617 variant as ‘Indian variant’ or ‘Modi variant’ by drumming up support from friendly scientists and media.

So, it seems quite evident by Congress leaders’ own action that the Congress Tool Kit is quite genuine, despite its draconian measures to silence BJP leaders and their supporters’ freedom of expression on social media platform about Congress Tool Kit by roping in Twitter, which marked tweets by Sambit Patra and some other leaders on Congress Tool Kit as ‘manipulated media’.

It is also hoped that Kamal Nath’s role during the anti-Sikh riots in 1984 is re-investigated by the centre so also the diabolical Congress Tool Kit and Kamal Nath is booked for inciting riots by his obnoxious directions to burn up the country under the ruse of farmer protests when the country faces a devastating pandemic.
