Day after day , we keep seeing the issue with stray dogs , attacking , killing people. Our sidewalks have become unwalkable , kids cannot go play in the parks due to fear of stray dogs .

I understand killing them is not an issue , but they do not belong on the streets as well. so I could come up with the best solutions which will be fair to all , animals , animals lovers as well as general public.

  1. Let us take some government plan in some isolated place , around 40 acres of two lots in far away lands .
  2. Make small blocks of 4000 sq yards ,so we will have 43 such small blocks.
  3. Create tall boundary walls in these blocks (80 feet hight ) , with a huge 4 story building , covered from all sides . Many tress will be planted in the open area . Each open area will have a water connection and a shallow water well .
  4. All 43 compounds will be connected via a water source .
  5. Catch all stray dogs . Seperate male , female dogs and male and female pups. keep them in gender specific areas .
  6. Put all male and female pups for adoption .(they will be avccinated for rabies at the correct month and neutered before adoption ). All te pups which are not adopted will be vaccinated for rabies and then transferred to gender specific enclosure .
  7. Vaccinate all dogs for rabies and then put all males dogs in one of the male dog enclosures and female dogs in female dog compounds . Each compound can hold 1000 dogs , so a 40 acre enclosure will be able to hold 86,000 dogs (of same gender) in a 40 acre enclosure . A similar 40 acre enclosure for female dogs will be built , in an area far away .
  8. There will be a dedicated person to take care of the dogs . The person will responsible to cooking 2 meals a day and cleaning every enclosure (wearing a medieval knight suits made of iron and steel ) .
  9. A dedicated veterinary doctor will also be housed at these 40 acre areas to check for medical issues of dogs .
  10. There will be a 24×7 water supply in every compound of the 30 acre area .
  11. The 40 acre plots of male and female dogs will be far away form each other .
  12. Every compound will have multiple cctv cameras which will broadcast live images via a dedicated website for all such facilities. People will be able to check these videos and ensure that the dogs are taken care of .
  13. There will be one dog enclosure of 2 acre in every capital city which will have 20 male and 20 female dogs kept together .
  14. Since the male and female dogs will be separated, they will not produce any new pups and eventually, when all dogs die , we will get rid of the stray dog issue all over India .
  15. We can have multiple such 40 acre enclosures as per the population of stray dogs in every state.
  16. every caretaker to have a gun with blank shots to disperse any fights that may happen between dogs .
  17. Since we will have that one mixed gender dog enclosure in every state , the species will not be wiped out and will keep reproducing . 50% of pups will be put up for adoption (after being neutered ) and 50% will be left in that enclosure to further reproduce . We will control the population of the stray dog species .
  18. Every time any stray dog is found , the dog is transferred to the gender specific holding area , vaccinated, and transferred to a gender specific compound .
  19. This is a very sensible solution for the stray dog issue all over India .
  20. The money which the government spends on sterilization of dogs on anti rabies vaccines , etc can be used for feeding the dogs and other expenses .If still the expenses are not met then we can levy a 0/.50 pais atax on all online orders above 500 Rs for this purpose.
  21. Once all dogs die oin 15 years , India will be stray dog free . We will have the specie alive in a controlled environment . And the land will go back to government , the lands will be a temporary borrow form government for 15 years .

Attire for caretaker /vet entering any compound.
