• The woman, who is three months pregnant, had gone out to get her phone fixed
  • She was approached by Afghan man who took her to darkened area to rape her
  • The 25-year-old appealed to a trio of Pakistani men for help who took her to a flat
  • Men, aged 19, 21 and 27, gang-raped her in the Athens flat before letting her go
  • She went to the police who arrested the three. The first rapist remains at large

Why does this keep happening? A survivor of a Muslim rape gang in the UK has said that her rapists would quote the Qur’an to her, and believed their actions justified by Islam. Thus it came as no surprise when Muslim migrants in France raped a girl and videoed the rape while praising Allah and invoking the Qur’an. In India, a Muslim gave a Qur’an and a prayer rug to the woman he was holding captive and repeatedly raping.

And the victim of an Islamic State jihadi rapist recalled: “He told me that according to Islam he is allowed to rape an unbeliever. He said that by raping me, he is drawing closer to God…He said that raping me is his prayer to God.” In India, a Muslim kidnapped and raped a 14-year-old Hindu girl, and forced her to read the Qur’an and Islamic prayers.

In Pakistan, another Christian woman recounted that her rapist was also religious: “He threw me on the bed and started to rape me. He demanded I marry him and convert to Islam. I refused. I am not willing to deny Jesus and he said that if I would not agree he would kill me.” Rapists demanded that another girl’s family turn her over to them, claiming that she had recited the Islamic profession of faith during the rape and thus could not live among infidels.

The Qur’an teaches that Infidel women can be lawfully taken for sexual use (cf. its allowance for a man to take “captives of the right hand,” 4:3, 4:24, 23:1-6, 33:50, 70:30). The Qur’an says: “O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to bring down over themselves of their outer garments. That is more suitable that they will be known and not be abused. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.” (33:59) The implication there is that if women do not cover themselves adequately with their outer garments, they may be abused, and that such abuse would be justified.

However, anyone who points all this out will be excoriated as a “racist” and an “Islamophobe,” and accordingly ignored.

“Serious criminal prosecution against Pakistanis for rape of pregnant woman in Athens (VIDEO),” Greek City Times, June 24, 2021:

The Athens Prosecutor’s Office filed a criminal prosecution against the three Pakistanis arrested for raping a 25-year-old pregnant woman in Agios Panteleimon in the early hours of Wednesday.

The three Pakistanis face the following charges: Rape, aiding and abetting rape, and kidnapping, Proto Thema reported.

A fourth person wanted by the police was also prosecuted for rape.

The accused are expected to be taken to an investigator.

The gang rape of a 25-year-old pregnant woman in Agios Panteleimon in the early hours of Wednesday shocked the public.

The woman, who is in the third month of her pregnancy and allegedly has mental issues, reported to the police that she was raped by four foreigners.

According to what she said to the police, the 25-year-old went to Omonia in Central Athens on Tuesday night in order to fix her mobile phone.

She was approached by a young man of Afghan descent, who led her to a dark spot and then raped her.

Shocked, the 25-year-old asked for help from three Pakistanis, who persuaded her to follow them to help her.

She was taken by taxi to an underground apartment in Agios Panteleimon, where she was gang-raped.

Neighbours in the adjoining apartments heard the girl’s voices and screams.

Her screams were heard by neighbours who went onto their balconies to shout across to each other and ask what was going on. The trio, fearing the suspicions of their neighbours, let the victim leave.

But she went straight to the police who arrived back at the apartment later to arrest three suspects aged 19, 21 and 27. They have been charged.

However, the fourth man – who first raped the woman – remains at large.

Police have gathered DNA evidence from the victim’s underwear and clothes and hope it can help track the attacker down – as well as prove the guilt of the trio who later raped her in the flat.

Last month, a 34-year-old Pakistani man was arrested on suspicion of attempting to rape several underage girls and a 22-year-old.

In 2012, the brutal beating and rape of a young girl on the island of Paros drew widespread attention. A manhunt has been launched after four men allegedly kidnapped and raped a pregnant woman in Greece

The teenager was found unconscious with a severe head injury that has resulted in permanent damage.

Her attacker was later identified as Ahmed Waqas, an undocumented migrant from Pakistan, who was arrested in Athens. He was later sentenced to life in prison.

The case prompted a crackdown on undocumented migrants in the Greek capital, with some 4,500 police arresting 7,000 people in just 72 hours.

It also led to a series of violent racist attacks against migrants in Greece, including the murder of a 19-year-old Iraqi man in Athens by assailants on motorcycles who had reportedly earlier targeted two foreigners who managed to escape.

Greece has a relatively low rate of violent crimes for a large European country and is frequently featured on lists of safest destinations for solo female travellers.
