Over the past few weeks, political tussle is being witnessed between former Chief Minister Captain Amrinder Singh and Navjot Singh Sidhu. After the resignation of Navjot Singh Sidhu as the Punjab Pradesh Congress committee, captain Amrinder Singh took to Twitter to write about Navjot Singh Sidhu that “I told you so…he is not a stable man and not fit for the border state of punjab”.
Navjot Singh Sidhu on 28th September around 3 pm took on to Twitter posting his resignation letter which wrote “Smt Sonia Gandhi, the collapse of a man’s character stems from the compromise corner, I can never compromise on Punjab’s future and the agenda for the welfare of Punjab. Therefore, I hereby resign as the President of Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee. Will continue to serve the Congress.”
Amid speculations that the former Chief Minister of Punjab Captain Amrinder Singh is heading towards Delhi to meet Amit Shah, Navjot Singh Sidhu who can be called a individual political rival of Captain Amrinder Singh submits his resignation from the post of Punjab Congress Chief which intensified the Punjab Congress Crisis and might bring a big tactorial shift in the the politics of Punjab. Since few days, the country is witnessing a Punjab political crisis or might say a Punjab Congress Crisis to be precise. Few days ago, the former Chief Minister of Punjab Captain Amrinder Singh submitted his resignation from the Chief Ministerial post and in his place Charanjit Singh Channi was being made the new Chief Minister of Punjab.
Narendra Modi’s vision of Congress mukt Bharat is coming into reality because of the intellectualism with which the three Gandhis work with Rahul Gandhi having an upper hand. On 28th of September, the same Kanhaiya Kumar who raised anti national slogans in the JNU campus was admitted into the Congress party along with Jignesh Mevani. Removal of Captain Amrinder Singh and admission of Kanhaiya Kumar itself makes the picture crystal clear, what are oldest political party’s priorities.
