According to a Friday report from Mathrubhumi, three Kerala police officials who were being investigated for allegedly giving sensitive information to terrorist organizations from the Munnar police station have been transferred. The three police officers were charged with disclosing data to terrorist organizations via the police station’s computers.

Of the three officials in question, Abdul Samad has been assigned to the Kottayam district, while PV Aliyar and PS Riyas have been moved to Ernakulam.

The district police chief designated Munnar DSP KR Manoj to investigate the claims that the trio had leaked confidential information to terrorist organizations. The preliminary action to transfer the officers was made in response to DSP KR Manoj’s report requesting a thorough investigation into the officials.

The trio’s cell phones have been seized and delivered to the cyber cell for a thorough investigation.

The Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI), a radical political Islamic organization, is accused of using Kerala Police officer PK Anas as a stooge. Anas allegedly passed sensitive material, including information about RSS employees, to SDPI.
From the Karimannoor police station, PK Anas is a Civil Police Officer. He was assigned to the Idukki district police headquarters when information about his alleged ties to the SDPI surfaced. Anas was eventually suspended after a Kerala Police internal investigation revealed he had engaged in a criminal conspiracy with SDPI to divulge sensitive information, endangering the lives of the people.
