A resident of Ghaziabad’s Loni area has received death threats from unknown miscreants. Posters have been pasted outside his flat and building. According to the police, the property dealer had earlier supported Nupur Sharma and opposed the murder in Udaipur. The hand-written poster states that the same will happen to the builder as happened to Kanhaiya Lal, the tailor. Let us tell you that Kanhaiya Lal was beheaded in Udaipur.
Police have provided security to the resident and investigation is on. Loni circle officer Rajnish Kumar Upadhyay said, “We got a call from a property dealer living on the third floor around 10 am on Wednesday. Two guards have been deployed at the main gate of the building. There is no CCTV installed here. We are probing how someone reached the third floor and left behind pasting the poster without being visible to anyone. Also the same posters were pasted on the main gate of the building.
Further investigation revealed that the property dealer was earlier involved in several anti-social activities. A complaint has been registered against him. Upadhyay further said, he had earlier sought protection citing death threats but his claims turned out to be baseless. Now we have given him protection and a case has been registered under sections 504 and 506 of the Indian penal code. Police is probing the matter from every angle.
