The country will be celebrating 75 years of independence and the central government does not want to leave any stone unturned to make this occasion grand and memorable. Prime minister Narendra Modi launched the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign so that the countrymen celebrate the 75th anniversary of India’s independence with happiness and cheer on 15 August. But some political parties are not able to handle it.

Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged the public to display the tricolor in their profile pictures on all social media platforms and called for a campaign to promote it in every household. The people of India generously supported this initiative, but the Congress party in response to this campaign did something different. Congress Party members put a photograph of Jawaharlal Nehru on the campaign as a protest.

The frustration of the Congressmen can be understood from the fact that the party has also inserted its agenda in the campaign like ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ and showed its sycophancy. But Congress remains the oldest party of the country, which always takes the credit for liberating the nation from the Britishers. But what about those who came to change the politics of the country, they are only changing the date of independence.

Yes, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who sometimes asks for proof of surgical strike and sometimes laughs in the state legislative assembly about the film made on the atrocities on Kashmiri Pandits. He recently tweeted and has appealed with a video message that on the eve of Independence Day i.e. 14th August, at 5 pm, the whole of Delhi will sing the national anthem with the tricolor in hand.

After this tweet, Kejriwal’s conscience is in question. Netizens are asking why did Arvind Kejriwal choose the date of August 14 for this event? On this day India was partitioned and Pakistan was formed. India suffered the tragedy of partition. Lakhs were displaced, women were raped and Hindus were massacred.

On August 14, the day of independence is not on this side of the border, but across it. Independence Day will be celebrated in Delhi only on 15th August. If you want to celebrate Pakistan then go there and celebrate.

BJP’s IT cell head Amit Malviya surrounded Kejriwal and said, “14th August? Arvind Kejriwal is sinister and evil. He is playing to a constituency, knowing fully well that India got its independence on 15th August. But we understand why those who supported ‘Jinnah Wali Azadi’ in Shaheen Bagh would want to celebrate it on 14th August.”

Ironically, some people are continuing to spread propaganda under the pretense of the nation and the tricolor even as plans are being made to celebrate the nation’s 75 years of independence in a grand way throughout the country.
