Below Complaint has been filed by Adv. Amita Sachdeva against Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi, MP Lok Sabha under Articles 102 & 103 of the Indian Constitution.

Respected Ma’am,
The applicant is a public spirited person and a practising advocate at Delhi High Court, by way of this communication seeks your immediate attention of the serious matter.
Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi, MP Lok Sabha was administered oath as the Member of Parliament by the Protem Speaker yesterday.
During the end of oath, Mr. Owaisi raised the slogan “Jai Palestine”.
By raising the above slogan
Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi, MP Lok Sabha categorically violated the provisions of the constitution.
Article 102 of the Constitution states that:
Disqualifications for Membership
(1) A person shall be disqualified for being chosen as, and for being, a member of either House of Parliament–
(a) if he holds any office of profit under the Government of India or the Government of any State, other than an office declared by Parliament by law not to disqualify its holder;
(b)if he is of unsound mind and stands so declared by a competent court;
(c) if he is an undischarged insolvent;
(d) if he is not a citizen of India, or has voluntarily acquired the citizenship of a foreign State, or is under any acknowledgement of allegiance or adherence to a foreign State;
Thus by raising the slogan of Jai Palestine during his oath proceedings Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi clearly acknowledged his allegiance and adherence to the State of Palestine as mentioned in Art 102(1)(d) of the Constitution of India.

I request you to immediately send this representation to the the Speaker, Lok Sabha and initiate proceedings to Disqualify Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi as the Member of Parliament.
