On the occasion of National Tourism Day, which was on 25th January, the Congress state President of Uttarakhand took to microblogging platform, Twitter to wish the netizens.
Here is the link to the tweet – https://twitter.com/UKGaneshGodiyal/status/1485870014410682371?t=Bhm4QWq1IPsz84rcFY64ew&s=19
However, the tweet made a field day for netizens as the poster didn’t include any historical monuments or places of Uttarakhand, but notably Leaning Tower of Pisa, was able to make it presence.
The Twitter bio of Shri Ganesh Godiyal reads, President @INCUttarakhand.
Interestingly, the Uttarakhand’s Congress President seems to be more interested to promote Taj Mahal (UP), India Gate (Delhi), Qutub Minar (Delhi) and Leaning Tower of Pisa (Italy). However Kedarnath, Haridwar, Auli, Dehradun, Massoorie, valley of flowers, etc.. which are the world famous sites from his home state, Uttarakhand missed to secure a place in the poster.
I guess, maybe he missed Eiffel Tower, London Bridge, Statue of Liberty, Pyramids of Egypts and Great Wall of China in the poster due to space compulsions. Nevertheless, Indians are thankful to Congress Party for bringing these monuments to India through their extraterrestrial dialogues.
