A DSP has been killed by the mining mafia in Mewat, Haryana. Deputy SP Surinder Singh (DSP Surender Singh Killed) has died on the spot. During the crackdown on illegal mining, the mafia mounted the truck on the Deputy SP. After this incident, the driver fled with the truck.
Tauru DSP Surender Singh was crushed to death by the illegal mining mafia which mowed him down near Nuh’s Pachgaon on Monday, close to Gugugram. The DSP died on the spot and his body was found in an open dumpster. The DSP was due for retirement soon, sources said.
DSP went to take action against mining mafia
According to reports, Deputy SP Surinder Singh had gone to take action against mining mafia. During this, the car was mounted on the Deputy SP and he died on the spot. Surinder Singh was posted as Deputy SP of Tawadu, Nuh. It is being told that Surinder Singh tried to stop a dumper full of stones. Then the driver put the dumper on the lion.
Surinder Singh was to retire this year
It is being told that Deputy SP Surinder Singh was about to retire this year. The body of Deputy SP has been found in the hills of Pachgaon. Haryana Mining Minister Moolchand Sharma said that the guilty will not be spared. He said that mining is not allowed in this area.
Police engaged in search of criminals
The police is conducting a search operation in search of the accused. After this incident, a large number of police forces have reached the spot. It is worth noting that after the murder of the DSP, the state government also became active and the action to nab the culprits has been intensified. The murder of the Deputy SP, the police has tweeted saying that no criminal will be spared.
From sources, Republic has learned that DSP Surender Singh arrived at the spot where the illegal mining was happening in the Mewat area after receiving a tip. The trucks didn’t have complete authority to move the mining stones from the area. When the DSP tried to stop it, the truck driver allegedly drove over the cop and killed him on the spot.
Former UP DGP Dr Vikram Singh spoke over the unfortunate incident. He asked, ‘Why has the sand mafia become so emboldened that they had the audacity to commit such a brazen murder’ There should be serious consequences for the mafia and should be punished under the sections of IPC 147, 148, 149, 307, 302, 201 so that they are behind bars for a lifetime”.
