A painful incident happened in Jashpur district of Chattisgarh where a speeding vehicle runs over a Hindu religious procession.Scary visuals got caught in the camera where a speeding SUV rammed into people on the road during the procession of Durga Visarjan. Casualties have been reported. 4 people died while 20 are injured. Block Medical Officer James Minj said “One body brought to the hospital, 16 others hospitalised. 2 of them being referred to other hospitals after x-ray that established fracture”.

Police informed that both accused of the incident where a speeding car mowed down people in Pathalgaon, Jashpur arrested. Both – Bablu Vishwakarma and Shishupal Sahu – are residents of MP and passing through Chhattisgarh. Action is being taken against Chattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said “Jashpur incident is very sad & heart-wrenching. The accused have been immediately arrested. Action has also been taken against the Police officers who seemed to be guilty prima facie. Probe has been ordered, nobody will be spared. Justice will be given to all,”.

This is second such instance of communal profiling and assault on Hindus while Chief Minister of Chattisgarh Bhupesh baghel is busy helping the Gandhi siblings find political ground in UP. It should be noted that this is the second communal profiling and assault on Hindus.
