Following a series of attacks by Islamists in Assam, a shocking incident has come to light where a young doctor was attacked by a Muslim mob on death of a Covid patient at Hojai in Nagaon district of Central Assam on June 1st.
An Islamist mob mercilessly thrashed and beat up a young doctor posted at the Udali Covid Care Centre after a Covid patient died during treatment. Pertinently, according to reports in Naogaon district many areas like Hojai, Jaminamukh, Ruphi, etc have witnessed huge demographic change in past few decades. The Islamist outfit AIUDF chief Badruddin Ajmal’s family owns most of Hojai town as well as the agarwood plantation fields near Hojai.
The attacks on Hindus in Muslim majority areas are on the rise in Assam with Islamist parties like AIUDF and the Congress aiding and abetting regularisation of illegal Bangladeshi Muslim infiltrators by helping them procure illegally Aadhaar, Voter’s Card, PAN card, etc. The Congress plays along with the Islamist AIUDF party for ensuring captive Muslim votebanks where Hindus are being gradually pushed out.
The attack on the doctor in Hojai is preceded with a series of incidents like the brutal lynching of Sanatan Deka, a poor vegetable seller by Faizul Haque and his Muslim friends during Ramzan on May 26 last year. In another incident in the heart of Guwahati city, a group of five Muslims stabbed and killed a Hindu Rituparna Pegu over a petty argument in broad daylight. In Dibrugarh, a young 20-year old boy, Saurav Das was murdered by three Muslims over having an affair with a Muslim girl in his locality. The brutal murder of the young man came to light much later as his body was disposed off in the Sesa river.
The Hindu community with Sarva Dharma Sadbhavana roots is in deep slumber about the existential crisis it faces from the jihadist Islamists who not only organise the Muslim community politically as one block to extract the maximum from Muslim appeasing parties, but also indulge in systematic communal violence, rapes, murders to drive away Hindus.
It is time the Hindu Samaj awakens and starts self-defensive mechanism and proactively supports leaders from social organisations and political parties who support the cause of protecting Hindu Assamese culture and people from being overwhelmed by Indian Islamists and illegal Bangladeshi infiltrators.
