Ever since Telangana MLA Raja Singh has been granted bail, his lawyer Karuna Sagar has received beheading threats from a community on Wednesday. No identification has been done to nab any of the accused till now.
Karuna Sagar said, “The callers were threatening to kill me immediately. A caller was also using foul words to insult me. This is due to the fact that I am protecting MLA Raja Singh. I dialled 100 and told the police.”
According to Sagar, he was intimidated for protecting Singh. “I’ve been receiving threatening calls since 2010, and police have registered roughly 8-10 FIRs based on my concerns. People have been detained as a result of my concerns, and two people have been sentenced to prison,” Sagar continued.
My Senior @karunasagarllb Advocate recived threatening calls & today when i was in court a mob came to my home & raised slogans of “Sar Tan Sey Juda”, till my last breath i will be advocate & follow my dharma.
My only Concern is my Mom was alone at home when this happened(1/2) pic.twitter.com/F3NyIf3C0W

Meanwhile, T Raja Singh was released on Wednesday after the ACMM court returned his demand application.
Earlier in the day, T Raja Singh was brought before the Nampally Court in Hyderabad for allegedly making disparaging remarks against Prophet Muhammad.
“I have been asked to convey to you that until further enquiry, you are suspended from the party and from your responsibilities/assignments, if any, with immediate effect,” said Om Pathak, the head of the disciplinary committee. It added, “Please also demonstrate cause why you should not be expelled from the party within 10 days of receiving this notice. Your comprehensive response must be received by the undersigned by September 2nd, 2022.”
The suspension letter also added, “You have expressed views contrary to the Party’s position on various matters, which is in clear violation of Rule XXV. 10 (a) of the constitution of the Bharatiya Janata Party.”
However, an FIR was filed against T Raja Singh at the Dabeerpura Police Station under IPC sections 153A, 295, and 505 in which he is out on bail.
