Madarasa or Madaris System is the integral part of the Islamic education system where muslim Kids were imparted education of Quran, Hadith and all other Islamic text and literature. They are the backbone of the Islamic Jihad whether in the medieval era or in the present modern period. These Madrasa are the breeding ground of terrorism which is used for all activities related to Islamic causation and have serve as the fertile recruiting base for the Islamist Jihadist groups who wage war on non believers with cries that there is no god but allah. These Madrasa get their funding from Saudi Arabia and from other west Asian countries whose aim is to spread Islam on all the four corners of the world. The cluster of Madrasa is the source of all religious fanaticism that is happening in the entire cosmos leading to war, bloodshed and violence thus have a very detrimental impact on the Society, nation and the world.

Madrasa are producing narrowly educated individuals who are incapable of thinking for themselves or operating in the modern world, but who form an increasingly large body of obedient footsoldiers who have unsophisticated political views lacking in originality and creating group of people inherently orthodox in nature and form the recruiting ground for Islamic militancy since more and more militants are coming from there and even from other Islamic mainstream political organisation. Even a ban on any Jihadi organisation is of no avail since they are capable of operating with their strong and dense network of informal channels via Madrasa for all their Jihadi pursuit. Jihadi outfits like JAMAT E ISLAMI, LASKHR E TAYYEBA, HIZBUL MUJHAHIDEEN etc said to have got birth from madrasa. All the Training and curriculum essential for Jihadist operation are taught there directly or indirectly. As their numbers goes on increasing their influence on the social and political aspect of the nation also starts rising which is starkly evident during the election when Muslim cleric proclaim their support for political party which wishes to fulfill their demands no matter even if their decisions turn out to be unpleasant to the country.

The militant doctrine of jihad to which madrasa student are intoxicated by the Islamic ideologues and thus they eventually end up being criminal, Jihadist with immense hatred for the non believers. These students of madrasa when they grow up aren’t able to assimilate in the milieu and the hostility they possess for non believers and their culture prefers them to be alienated from others. This madrasa system is producing highly compartmentalized citizenry with few shared values or skills. The madrasa range in size from few students to the capacity of holding thousands of students. The expenses of education in madrasa is very low and affordable therefore Poor families tends to enroll their pupils in madrasa and overlooking the future of their beloved children. These children are not only indoctrinated with religious extremism, madrasa students are deficient in subjects such as mathematics and science, ignorant of basic events in human history. This has created a class of religious lumpen proletariat, unemployable and practically uneducated young men who see religious education as a vehicle for social mobility, but who find traditional avenues clogged and modern ones blocked.

The Scholars and teachers of Madrasa system are only narrowing the outlook of madrasa student not broadening them and inculcating a belief in them that secularism is the enemy of Islam and prescribing them ideologically driven solution of Jihad to eliminate all the other faith, culture, tradition except the Islam. These apolitical religious Islamic School are making mindset, lifestyle of their children which is convenient to that of 7th century but incompatible to the 20th century of modern era. These madrasa are divisive as they churn out more and more poorly educated young men who have no knowledge of any other subject except Arabic and Quranic studies. The Ulema who cater to the tiny demand of religious scholar unable to see mass public modern education as beneficiary and whenever any change in the Islamic custom, traditions is carried out to facilitate the govt scheme like women empowerment is strongly opposed which is nothing but an anathema in Islamic world.

Meanwhile, the state apparatus have failed to clamp down the madrasa system which is promoting a civil war in forthcoming future since their ultimate desire is to overthrow the democracy and institute sharia and make nation as darul Islam. Instead of limiting the role of madrasa or subjecting them to surveillance of security forces, they are given aids in the name of minority in many countries like India, France, Britain etc which in turn only strengthening the Islamist to pursue their dreams. The strong political ties that Madrasa have tends to play an important part in pressurizing and influencing the political leaders not to take out strict reforms related to them. No reliable assessment of the madrasa system and lack of courage, enthusiasm in the political parlance for shutting them down is the main reason of the continuous expansion of Islamic radicalism. The inaptitude of political leadership to see Madrasa as school of terrorism and Islamic extremism is only leading us towards the situation of chaos, unrest and lawlessness. These madarsa will continue to expand till no steady incremental changes are brought by the states. How will the nation can fight against Islamic Jihadist when your own govt gives them all form of Support from the backdoors? This question is left for the readers to answer.
