One of the witnesses of beheading of Kanhaiya Lal by Islamists, Rajkumar Sharma, is currently hiding out of fear. In interviews with the media, members of Rajkumar Sharma’s family requested assistance from the government. On Tuesday June 28, a Hindu man who had a tailoring business in the area was beheaded by two Muslim thugs on Tuesday in broad daylight on Udaipur’s Maldas Street. The murder was captured on camera, and the murderers uploaded the video online. He was brutally killed for posting a Whatsapp status stating that Nupur Sharma was backed by Kanhiya Lal. The assassins entered Kanhiya Lal’s shop in the video, gave him their clothing sizes, then attacked and beheaded him while it was being recorded. Previously, Rajkumar Sharma was employed by Kanhaiya Lal. When the murderers attacked, he was inside the store. The savage attack’s specifics were described by Rajkumar Sharma as he was speaking to the media. The incident was seen by Rajkumar Sharma and Ishwar Gaud, two witnesses. He is currently compelled to maintain his identity because he worries that some Islamists may attack him similarly. Fear prevents Rajkumar Sharma from leaving his house. Ishwar Gaud, another eyewitness, was hurt while attempting to revive the deceased Hindu tailor Kanhaiya Lal.

In an interaction with The New Indian, Rajkumar Sharma’s wife told, “We thought that it is our duty to ensure that this thing never happens with anyone else again. This is why we are cooperating with the government. All I wish is that my husband gets to do a job in a safer place. Government should help us for financial and security purposes. I request you to convey our request to the government. I cannot tell the government and the chief minister directly. Otherwise, I would go there and urge them to help us. Therefore, I am asking them for help. We have cooperated with the government and we expect help from the government in return. So, please take our voice to the government or please tell me the address and contact details of the chief minister so that I can tell him the same.”
