Even as the world battles the multiple waves of the deadly Corona virus manufactured in a laboratory and exported to the world by China, it happily mints money by jacking up the prices of Oxygen Concentrators sold to India.

Apart from surging up the prices of the Oxygen Concentrators purchased by Indian businessmen and organisations based in China to be sent to India for philanthropic purposes to meet the shortage in Oxygen supply for needy Indian patients; China now according to an exclusive India Today report is now changing the original components of the Oxygen Concentrators sold to India and replacing it with sub-standard parts endangering the lives of the end users.

While the Chinese ambassador in India tries to post on social media the medical consignments arriving from China as Chinese philanthropy or humanitarian aid, China is actually profiteering by selling all these medical equipments to Indian businessmen, NGOs or corporates who buy them from China to be given away in aid for the needy in India.

Many Indian businessmen who had ordered Chinese Oxygen Concentrators are now rejecting it as the components used in it are found to be of sub-standard material and cheaper alternatives, which reduces the life-cycle of these equipment by 1/10th of its original life. A good standard Oxygen Concentrator works for more than a couple of thousand hours and has a good life, the newer ones manufactured by China and sold to Indians work only for 200 or 300 hours, which is 1/10th the normal capacity.

This would also result in a problem of huge dump and piling up of medical wastes for India. As the substandard quality Chinese Oxygen Concentrators would soon get worn out and end up as medical waste.

This is not the first time Chinese are being accused of sending sub-standard and medical equipment, when the Covid pandemic broke out early last year, all European countries sent rejected the low quality faulty medical equipments like PPE gear, Corona testing kit, face masks from China. China was also accused of exporting low quality faulty ventilators by countries across the world.

In any case, Chinese products were always infamous for their low-quality and sub-standard material. Chinese medical equipments are no exception to this general rule.

China is the only country in the world which is profiteering from the pandemic manufactured exported by it to the rest of the world. but profiting from the life saving equipments and exporting sub-standard quality is playing with Indian lives and would be viewed very seriously by India.

There are also researches proving that just like the first wave of the pandemic escaped from Chinese lab from Wuhan, there are many indications and pointers towards a more virulent second and third mutation of the virus manufactured from the same country and unleashed to wreck India.
