Rakesh Tikait, a violent anarchist who masquerades as farmers’ leader and is spokesperson of the Bhartiya Kisan Union, has been accused by a farmer woman from Muzaffarnagar, UP of illegally occupying her farmland and destroying standing crops under the garb of protests.

Rakesh Tikait and his son Charan Singh has been according to news report accused of illegally occupying three bighas of her farmland in Muzaffarnagar and destroying the standing crops on her field. The victim has complained against Rakesh Tikait and his son to the district administration and appealed to CM Yogi Adityanath for strict action and justice on the matter.

The complainant Sushila Devi and her son Vineet Balyan are residents of Kinauni village in Shahpur police station area of Muzaffarnagar. They alleged that 3 bhigas of their land came under railway acquisition which was illegally occupied by Rakesh Tikait and his son on May 30th. They further alleged that the father and son duo also destroyed the standing crops on the land causing them a huge loss.

Sushila Devi said that they have made several complaints to the district administration, but no action was taken against Rakesh Tikait. So she finally appeals to CM Yogi Adityanath for justice on the matter. Sushila Devi also reportedly accused Rakesh Tikait of not being a farmers’ leader but a land mafia forcefully occupying lands of small farmers for his own profit.

Notably, Rakesh Tikait has been creating anarchy, public nuisance and spreading Corona virus by inciting farmers to sit on protest against the new agricultural laws which are beneficial to farmers with small land holding. Recently a young woman from Bengal was gang raped at the Singhu Border protest site by AAP leaders supporting the protest. She also contracted Corona at the protest venue, was not given prompt treatment and eventually died in May end. Her father filed a police complaint after her death. Pertinently, Yogendra Yadav championing the protests was made aware about the sexual assault but he chose to remain silent and not inform the police. Rakesh Tikait and these designer farmer leaders have been holding the central government to a ransom for the past six months to forcibly withdraw a beneficial legislation which would rejuvenate the agricultural sector. Rakesh Tikait has also been inciting people to sit in protest endangering their lives and spreading Covid by falsely claiming that Covid pandemic is a ploy of central government to stop protests.
