There is an increasing number of rapes being reportedly committed by Muslims in communally sensitive areas in West Bengal. The victims are generally Hindu minor girls as young as 9 years old. It is alleged that these rapes are being committed by illegal Bangladeshi infiltrators. Recently two back to back rape cases of minor girls have been reported from Malda area within a span of one week.

15 Year Old Minor Gang-Raped In Ambulance

Two ambulance drivers, Mohammed Karim Sheikh and Tarzan Sheikh have been booked for gang-raping a 15 year old minor girl in an ambulance for hours together and dumping her out in an unconscious critical state near a culvert.

The horrifying spine chilling incident of gang-rape of kidnapped minor girl on the wheels, that too in an ambulance, reportedly took place on Friday (11th June) night at Farakka in Murshidabad district. The minor girl is a resident of Chaksudapur area of Malda district. She had come to visit her uncle’s house in Farakka. The 15-year-old girl is a higher secondary school student.

The young minor girl left her house in anger after quarrelling with her mother in the afternoon on the fated day and was standing near the Farakka NTPC, according to the family. The minor girl was then allegedly bundled up forcibly into an ambulance by the accused duo and allegedly raped by taking turns while the ambulance was running.

‎Civic volunteers on duty suspect the ambulance was roaming the Farakka area from Friday evening till night. When they chased the ambulance, the accused left the victim near a culvert and fled. The minor was rescued in an unconscious state by civic volunteers. She was then admitted to the Militantpur Subdivision Hospital where she underwent an medical examination and was given treatment.

‎Police have arrested the two criminals, Mohammad Karim and Tarzan Sheikh who were accused of repeatedly gang-raping the minor girl in the ambulance. Mohammad Karim was driving the ambulance in which the heinous crime was committed.

Police reportedly said the other accused Tarzan Sheikh is also an ambulance driver by profession. The two arrested were produced in the Militantpur subdivision court on Saturday (12th June). The judge remanded them to five days police custody.‎

Militantpur district Superintendent of Police Y Raghuvanshi said,”Police have started an investigation into the incident. Two people have already been arrested. They have been sent to the Militantpur court. ’’ ‎

9 Year Old Minor Girl Raped In Manikchack Malda

A few days earlier on 4th June, a 9 year old minor Dalit Hindu girl was allegedly brutally raped and beaten by a 60-year old school teacher, Rafiqul Islam in Manickchak of Malda district. The parents of the minor girl lodged an FIR under the relevant sections of POCSO on June 5th. But even after six days the police did not arrest the accused, the parents of the girl were running pillar to post to get justice. Devdutta Maji, a Hindu activist and BJP member, took up the issue and ran a campaign in the social media to arrest the accused.

Surprisingly, none from the mainstream media covers the increasing cases of abominable rapes of young children in West Bengal as the perpetrators of the heinous crimes are invariably from the Muslim community and their victims Hindus, so there is a ‘secular silence over the issue. Not to mention the mainstream media’s complete blackout of the ongoing 1.5 month long state sponsored genocide of Hindus in West Bengal since 2nd May, the day assembly election results were announced giving Mamata’s TMC party a brute majority on the strength of en-block Muslim vote-banks.
