Different indeed, they say, is the result (attained) by the worship of the Manifested and different indeed, they say, is the result (attained) by the worship of the Unmanifested. Do not be jealous of others’ wealth. Thus have we heard from the wise who had explained it to us.

— Isa Upanishad Verse 1

If one should desire to live in this world a Hundred Years, one should live performing Good Karma (Righteous Deeds). Thus thou may live; there is no other way. By doing this, Karma (the results of your action) will not defile thee.

— Isa Upanishad Verse 2

The Atman (Soul), though motionless, is swifter than the mind. The senses can never overtake it, for it ever goes before. Though immovable, it travels faster than those who run. By the Atman (Soul), the all-pervading air sustains all living beings. It moves and it moves not. It is far and also it is near. It is within and also, it is without all this. (The Atman or Soul can exist without the body)

– Isa Upanishad Verse 4 & 5

He who sees all beings in himself and himself in all beings, he never refuses acceptance (to others). He who perceives all beings as his own self, for him how can there be delusion or grief, when he sees this oneness everywhere?

– Isa Upanishad Verses 6 & 7

By Vidya (Knowledge), one end is attained; By Avidya (Lack of Knowledge), another. Thus we have heard from the knowledgeable men who taught this.

— Isa Upanishad Verse 9

He who knows at the same time, both Avidya (Ignorance) and Vidya (Knowledge), crosses over Death by Avidya (Ignorance) and attains Immortality through Vidya (Knowledge).

– Isa Upanishad Verse 11

By whose command and direction does the mind determine something? Commanded by whom does the life force, the first cause, move? At whose will do men utter speech? What power commands the eyes and the ears?

– Kena Upanishad Verse 1

To The Supreme, the eyes do not go, nor speech, nor mind. We do not know him, we do not understand how he can be understood. He is different from the known and also, he is beyond the unknown. Thus we have learnt from the wise teachers who told us about Him.

– Kena Upanishad Verse 3

That which speech does not illumine, but which illumines speech – Know that alone to be Brahman, and not what people worship here.

That which cannot be thought of by mind, but by which, they say, mind is able to think, – Know that alone to be Brahman, and not what people worship here.

That which is not seen by the eye, but by which the eye is able to see – Know that alone to be Brahman, and not what people worship here.

That which cannot be heard by the ear, but by which the ear is able to hear – Know that alone to be Brahman, and not what people worship here.

That which doesn’t breathe with the breath, but by which breath is in-breathed – Know that alone to be Brahman, and not what people worship here.

– Kena Upanishad Verse 4 – 8

If you think “I know it well” then it is certain you know but little of the Brahman (Absolute Truth), or in what form he resides in the Devas. Therefore I think that what you think to be known is still to be sought after.

– Kena Upanishad 2.1

Brahman is known, when it is known in every state of consciousness. Through such knowledge one attains immortality. By attaining this Self, man gains strength; and by Self Knowledge, immortality is attained.

– Kena Upanishad 2.4

He who thinks he knows it not, knows it. He who thinks knows it, knows it not. The true knowers think they can never know it, while the ignorant think they can know It.

– Kena Upanishad 2.3

If one knows it here, that is Truth. If one knows it not here, great is his loss. The wise seeing the same self in all beings, being liberated from this world, become immortal.

– Kena Upanishad 2.5

That Brahman is called Tadvanam (Object of Worship). He is to be worshiped by the name Tadvanam. He who knows Brahman thus, is loved by all beings. – Kena Upanishad 4.6

The Upanishad is based on tapas, dama and karma.
The Vedas are it’s limbs.
Truth is it’s support.

– Kena Upanishad 4.8

Tapas = Practice of Control of Body and Mind
Dama = Control of Senses
Karma = Good Deeds and Correct Performance
