According to the recruitment

According to the recruitment

These will be the qualifications for recruitment

  • For recruitment to the general posts, the candidate must have passed 10th with at least 45% marks.
  • For Technical Aviation and Ammunition Posts 12th pass with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English is required.
  • For Clerk / Storekeeper posts, the candidate must have passed 12th from any stream with minimum 60% marks. Must have 50% marks in English and Maths
  • Separately, 10th and 8th pass will be recruited for the posts of tradesmen. 33% marks compulsory in all subjects.
  • The age limit for appointment to all the posts has been fixed from 17.5 years to 23 years.

Those with NCC certificate will get bonus marks

For army recruitment, candidates with NCC A certificate will get 5 marks, candidates with NCC B certificate will get 10 marks and candidates with NCC C certificate will get 15 marks. Candidates having NCC C certificate will also get exemption from CEE (Common Entrance Exam) for Agniveer General Duty and Clerk/Storekeeper posts.

Reservation in central appointments after retirement

To quell the anger of the youth against Agneepath scheme, the Ministry of Home and Defense has announced to provide reservation. On Saturday morning, the Ministry of Home Affairs decided to give 10% reservation for Agniveers for recruitment in CAPFs (Central Armed Police Forces) and Assam Rifles. Announced to give them relief of 3 to 5 years in age limit.

After this, in the evening, the Ministry of Defense has also announced to give 10 percent reservation to Agniveers in the recruitments in their ministry. Along with the Indian Coast Guard and Defense Civilian Posts of the Ministry of Defense, there will be reservation in appointments in 16 companies of Defense Public Sector Undertaking.
