Before the floor test could take place in Bihar legislative assembly, the CBI has taken big action by raiding multiple sites related to prominent members of RJD on Wednesday. The CBI raided the premises of RJD MLC Sunil Singh, MP Ashfaq Karimi, and RJD’s newly elected Rajya Sabha MP Fayaz Ahmed. According to media reports, the CBI has taken this action in both the states of Bihar and Jharkhand in the case related to the investigation of illegal mining, and land for job scam.

This case is related to the employment scam in the Railways instead of land. At the same time, RJD has raised questions about these raids lying just before the floor test. On the other hand, ED has taken action against the mining scam. ED raids are going on at 17 places in Jharkhand’s capital Ranchi, Delhi, and Tamil Nadu. ED is investigating the locations of Prem Prakash, who was close to Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren, in Ranchi.

According to the report, the CBI had registered the case three months back. After this, Rabri’s residence was raided. In this, many documents were said to come out from Tejashwi Yadav’s room. It was only after this raid that Bhola Yadav, considered closest to Lalu Yadav, was arrested. This action of the CBI is starting after the interrogation of Bhola Yadav.

At the same time, in the mining scam in Jharkhand, the ED raided the locations of Prem Prakash, who was close to Chief Minister Hemant Soren, in Ranchi. The ED has also raided Delhi and Tamil Nadu in connection with this scam. There is a raid on Prem Prakash’s old office in Ranchi. Prem Prakash is considered to have deep penetration in the politics of Jharkhand. The ED had questioned him a few days back and released him. The ED has also questioned several DMOs and the Chief Minister’s Press Advisor and some MLA representatives. On the other hand, BJP MP Nishikant Dubey has attacked the Hemant government regarding the action of ED.

Amidst the action being taken by the central investigative agencies, one after the other raids of RJD leaders in Bihar has posed a big challenge for the new government of the Grand Alliance.
