Congress’ Ashok Gehlot has achieved the impossible – it inoculates dead people in Rajasthan!

While over 11.5 lakh doses of covid vaccines have been wasted, and the Gehlot government claims that there is vaccine shortage a bizarre story of the dead people being vaccinated in Rajsthan surfaces.

A man named Pravin Gandhi, a resident of Dungarpur in Rajasthan, received two messages on his mobile phone from the state medical department informing him that his dead parents have been vaccinated against coronavirus. Gandhi’s father passed away in 2014 and his mother in 2015.

He said that he received two messages informing him that his mother and father have been given their first doses of Covishield vaccine at a healthcare facility in Sri Ganganagar district. It quoted their Aadhaar numbers too. Gandhi said he was shocked to see those messages because both of his parents died five-six years ago.

Surprisingly, neither his family nor he has ever gone to the Sri Ganganagar medical department for the vaccination. So, he wondered how could their Aadhaar details be used in another district for the inoculation.

When Gandhi inquired, he found that some other persons in 100 Kd village of Sri Ganganagar had got vaccinated using his parents’ documents. He said that he complained about this matter of fraudulently misusing his dead parents’ documents for vaccination to two top officials of the district. The answer received was even more shocking to Gandhi, as he was told that anybody can get vaccinations using anyone’s identity cards taking advantage of face masks.

“How is this even possible? It’s not so easy. At vaccination centres, documents of beneficiaries are examined, screening is done and then vaccines are administered… The matter should be investigated,” Gandhi said as reported by TimesNow.

Gandhi demanded a detailed investigation over the matter. It is important to know whether the Congress government is vaccinating on priority illegal Bangladeshi and Rohingya migrants over the citizens of India by misuse of documents. This also calls for investigation of leaking of sensitive identity data which also needs very thorough investigation.
