It is a matter of concern that in which direction is the Delhi Police using its energy. Is the Delhi Police using its full energy in beating the bush out of terrorist sympathisers or are they more concerned about an ordinary citizen carrying a polythene consisting of firecrackers.

On 3rd November, Delhi police arrested and ordinary citizen Rajesh Chawla for carrying a polythene having firecrackers. Rajesh Chawla was neither a Terrorist Sympathizers nor was he someone who wanted the balkanisation of India. He was not someone who raised anti national slogans like “Bharat Tere Tukde Honge Inshallah Inshallah”. He was also not the one who called Indian Army rapists. He was a normal citizen of India carrying firecrackers during Deepavali to welcome his Prabhu Shree Ram. But sadly in the oldest civilization Bharat , a Hindu celebrating your festival becomes an act of terror.

DCP New Delhi went for a chest thumping while informing this news on their twitter handle. DCP New Delhi twitter handle wrote “HC Rampal from PS Connaught Place while patrolling apprehended one Rajesh Chawla R/o Sector 15 Rohini carrying one polythene having crackers. Case FIR No. 201/2021 U/s 188 IPC registered. Accused arrested and firecrackers recovered.”
