Islamist Terror advocate Zakir Naik supporter, Pakistan apologist, Saffron Terror inventor senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh, who promoted 26/11 Mumbai terror attack as “RSS ki Sazish” has stooped to a new low again.

Digvijay Singh shamefully targeted the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) for its stellar research work in combating Covid-19 by coming up with a gamechanger oral medicine 2-DG and developing indigenous test kit for early detection of Covid-19 antibodies.

Digvijay Singh tweeted, “shouldn’t they (DRDO) concentrate on research related to Defence and Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) be doing research on medicines and other health issues.”

Digvijay Singh and the Congress seems to be oblivious and ignorant of the fact that there is a huge arm of medial research establishments run by Defence Forces and DRDO to deal with issues relating to nuclear, biological and chemical warfare. And it is a well established fact that Covid-19 is a biowar thrust by China on the world including India.

The web portal Indian Politics reports that the DRDO has establishments like DEBEL ( defence bio engineering and electromedical Lab) INMAS ( institute of nuclear medicine and Allied Sciences ), DIPAS( defence institutute of physiiological research and allied Sciences ), DIPR( defence institute of psychological research )etc.

DRDO’s Breakthrough Work To Combat COVID-19

DRDO’s Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences, has also developed an indigenous drug, named 2-deoxy-D-glucose (2-DG), in collaboration with Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, Hyderabad which would prove to be a gamechanger in combating Covid-19.

The DRDO’s Defence Bio-Engineering & Electro Medical Laboratory (DEBEL), Bengaluru had researched and developed medical technology for soldiers deployed in high altitude areas to combat illnesses due to harsh climates. This will now be used for treating Covid-19 patients too as it has proved to be very effective against the virus.

This drug would prove to be a boon for soldiers deployed in high altitude areas of Ladhak, Arunachal, Sikkim combating illness and fatigue due to inclement weather conditions giving the Indian Army an edge over the Chinese PLA.

DIPCOVAN, the DIPAS-VDx COVID 19 IgG Antibody Microwell ELISA for sero-surveillance has been developed by the Defence Institute of Physiology and Allied Sciences (DIPAS) in association with Delhi-based firm Vanguard Diagnostics Pvt Ltd.

Pertinently, the DRDO has also established several COVID-19 dedicated hospitals across the country.

Congress Tool Kit At Play To Deride DRDO’s Indigenous Research To Profit US Pharma Companies?

With Kamal Nath demeaning India by calling the B.1.617 Covid variant as “Indian Corona” and claiming that Chinese Corona is not killing people, but Indian Corona is. Now, Digvijay Singh’s low level jibes at DRDO is perhaps aimed to undermine DRDO’s 2-DG Covid medicine and DRDO’s DIPCOVAN antibody early detection of Covid Test Kit to promote US Pharmas like Pfizer, Moderna which specialise in profiteering during bio-tragedies. This kind of low level politics, more than defaming PM Modi is against national interest.

Anyway, when did the Sonia Congress with people like Digvijay Singh and Mani Shankar Iyer setting the agenda ever care for national interest? The Congress Tool Kit devised to hurt Modi is now working to defame DRDO instead of congratulating it and its scientists for its breakthrough gamechanger research.
