By the grace of Mahadev and determined efforts of K. Annamalai, BJP made huge gains in the local body elections whose results got declared on 22nd of February. BJP emerged as the third largest party in Tamil Nadu and second largest party in Chennai. BJP extended its vote bank to a significant extent. The credit goes to K. Annamalai and other hard working karyakartas of BJP. BJP soon will be waving it’s saffron flag in Tamil Nadu by the grace of Mahadev. After BJP walked out of AIDMK alliance, BJP had only 4 days to file nominations for Local Body Elections. Within 4 days BJP fielded 5,480 candidates. With only 18 days for campaign K.Annamalai brought BJP as 3rd largest party in the state and 2nd in Chennai. BJP won in areas where it never had a public representative before. The vote share of BJP has also increased to a significant percentage. K. Annamalai has energised the cadre, brought new dynamism & given hope to people of the state that a viable alternative in form of BJP is possible.

BJP polled 5.33% total votes out of total votes polled throughout Tamil Nadu. But, BJP contested only 43% of the total seats.So, the contested vote share of BJP in these polls is 12.49%. For the first time the percentage of votes that the BJP garnered has exceeded 5 percent mark.The decision by Annamalai to go solo while not attacking the AIADMK like most parties do when they walk out of an alliance has created both respect for him across the political parties and a strong enthusiasm for the cadre. In fact, Annamalai has been able to stir enthusiasm not only with the party cadre but also with the supporters and even among fence sitters.

K. Annamalai being a youth and former ips officer is attracting the vote banks of young voters. He also protested against DMK government for mismanagement of Temples and anti hindu policies. K. Annamalai also fearlessly gave back to biased journalist which instilled a degree of confidence among the BJP cadres. Annamalai launched a wide range of protests in order to seek justice for Lavanya for had to commit suicide because of the authorities of Christian Missionary. There are also other reasons why k.annamalai is becoming a favourite in Tamil Nadu. Whenever BJP used to rise a valid issue DMK trolls used discredit issue by calling BJP leader as Parappan(Brahmin) but Annamalai is not Brahmin but OBC so Anti Brahmin card fails here. When Dr Tamilisai and Murugan were BJP Tamil Nadu presidents Dhumeels tried to Trivialize them with cheap memes via SM Troll brigade. Tried to paint them illiterate. Point to note Tamilisai Soundararajan is a MBBS degree holder & L Murugan is PHD holder. Both have educational qualifications way above MK Stalin & his son Udhay Stalin who are just some small “Graduate”. Whereas it’s well know that K. Annamalai is ex IPS officer who know in and out about law & police so none of cheap memes troll brigade of DMK fails here too.K.Annamalai is fire brand leader & no-nonsense leader unlike couple of past BJP TN leaders who were motormouth. He don’t give even a inch of content to biased Tamil media. Never lose temper & his control over language is absolute so gives back to media way they deserve.All these make K.Annamalai an ideal leader & he is emerging as biggest opposition leader in state & becoming big head ache to Stalin govt. His popularity is in rise.

K. Annamalai is one of leader to watch out. He may become a big leader in whole of South soon. He has time with his side too. He can also get ample support in Karnataka where his stint as IPS officer has made him cult figure as Singham. By 2031 you can hear “Annamalai Kuppusami ennum naan sattapadi amaikpatra Bharat araisil unmeyana nambikeyum..” live on New channels. When BJP form govt in Tamil Nadu it will rule for very long time. Tamils have started to embrace BJP Puducherry is just a beginning of it. Annamalai has age in his hands, he is only 37 and so there is wide range of chances of him becoming the Chief Minister of Tamilnadu one day.
