Ayurveda, a Vedic system of holistic medicine that dates back to the 6th to 10th century BCE, is one of the other Vedic sciences that is now again growing in popularity. It is understanding of how to live a healthy lifestyle and how to treat illnesses. It is that old art and science that enables us to comprehend this same “life” with all of its various hues and tints, as well as how to embark on it and pass through its various stages, such as adolescence, adulthood, maturity, etc., in the best condition.

The Vedic version of astrology, known as jyotish, is an old science that is also becoming more and more prominent in the West. Vedic Astrology is intended to aid a person in more effectively navigating life. It is intended to help one identify their strongest tendencies, personalities, characters, qualities, and traits as well as what would be their greatest professional direction.

The Vedic art of arranging buildings and homes is known as vaastu. It travelled through the Orient and acquired the name Feng Shui, which has gained popularity particularly quickly in the West. But, Vastu is a specific science that addresses the movement of energy through a home or structure for the best results. It is insufficient to just arrange a house such that it looks attractive or that energy flows well through it. Yet, a lot hinges on the angles that objects are facing or the areas of a structure where specific tasks are carried out.

 

Of course, practises like pranayama, meditation, and yoga have been practised for thousands of years and are currently gaining popularity in Western nations as well. The Eastern philosophy, which has always played a significant role in how individuals find themselves and progress spiritually, goes hand in hand with this.

We can see that Vedic culture, with its diverse fields of knowledge and religious expression, is still important now, just as it was thousands of years ago. And just as it did in the past, humanity can benefit from them via reflection and spiritual as well as material advancement.

 

The Dharma’s strength and Vedic culture’s continued relevance can be seen in the numerous resources it has always made available to help people realise their full potentials as both individuals seeking personal fulfilment and spiritual awakening and as a society capable of coexisting with nature and cooperating with one another.

In order to achieve our fullest potential, both materially and spiritually, we can see here how numerous elements of the ancient Vedic civilization are still relevant today. The power of the dharma can be recognised and used generation after generation due to its consistent and superior character. We can see that practising and using this Vedic knowledge can help us in many ways by looking into the knowledge and opinions on the various themes available in the Vedic tradition.
