Indian Government has decided to send top ministers as special envoys to neighbouring countries of Ukraine for rescue ops of Indian Nationals.
Ministers – Hardeep Singh Puri (Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs & Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas), Jyotiraditya M Scindia (Union Minister for Civil Aviation), Kiren Rijiju (Minister of Law and Justice) and General V K Singh (Minister of state for Road Transport & Highways and Civil Aviation) to travel for evacuation and help stranded students. The government has named this rescue operation as Operation Ganga.

Meanwhile,

The fifth flight that departed from Bucharest (Romania), landed in Delhi earlier this morning. The flight carried 249 Indian nationals. It had departed from Bucharest (Romania) for Delhi airport.

Whereas, the United States’ Embassy in Kyiv urged its citizens to leave Ukraine through private options if it is safe to do so. It recommended that they should leave the country through border crossings into Hungary, Romania & Slovakia.

There had been reports of hundreds of Indian Nationals in almost zero degree temperature are waiting helplessly to cross the border for last two days at Ukraine-Romania border in  Unbearably cold weather running out of options and lack of food and water.
