Right after the Kerala gold scam accused Swapna Suresh put serious allegations against CM Pinarayi Vijayan and his family stating their involvement in the scam, CM Vijayan came up with a bizarre statement. CM Pinarayi Vijayan stated that those bringing gold in the rectum must be given high regard just like those bringing gold in Olympics. CM Vijayan questioned why those bringing gold in Olympics are given royalty on behalf of government while those bringing gold in rectum are facing more pain are put into jails. Why this discrimination? Eventually, the gold is being added in the reserves of India.

After this statement of CM Pinarayi Vijayan, left activists at JNU are applauding his next level thinking and also decided to run initiative for the youth to spread awareness about benefits of carrying gold in rectum.
