Rajya Sabha MP, Anil Bonde claims that widespread grooming (love jihad) is taking place in Amravati. Additionally, he has urged Muslim community members to maintain control over their sons who seduce and capture Hindu girls. According to Bonde, there have been 20 examples of love jihad when numerous girls have vanished after getting married. He further claimed that numerous young women are forced into prostitution.

He mentioned the latest case of love jihad from Amravati’s Dharani where a Muslim youth trapped a Hindu girl and married her. He added that there was another instance where a girl vanished after her wedding and the authorities were unable to find her.

He made a video referencing the recent rescue of a newlywed by Bajrang Dal (BD) and Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) activists.
After being rescued, she married an ambulance driver and returned to her family. The Muslim adolescent who has only completed ninth grade of education forced the highly educated Hindu girl into marriage.

Furthermore, it has been claimed that the girl had no consent in this case. The girl is receiving care at the general hospital where Bonde saw her, and Bonde disclosed that the girl’s health is not good. Further investigation revealed that the business and the attorney who performed the marriage were fakes.

For the Hindu community, Bonde had a message. He warned Hindu females against succumbing to any temptation that would endanger their lives. He claimed Shaikh Irfan, who killed chemist Umesh Kolhe, was also charged with practicing love jihad. He claimed Irfan used chloroform to knock out a married Hindu woman in Indore before raping her. In light of these findings, Bonde has requested that police search Amravati extensively.
