Modiji met Sanyasis regarding the establishment of Sri Shankaracharya temple and an International center for research & studies of Vedanta at Ayodhya.
Pujya Sri Shankara Bharati Mahaswamiji of Sri Yadatore Mutt, met Bhartiya Prime Minister Narendra Modi at New Delhi on 29th of January and discussed about establishing Sri Shankaracharya temple and an International center for research & studies of Vedanta at Ayodhya.
The center will be established in a 15 acres land near Sri Rama Mandir on the bank’s of River Sarayu. Jagadguru Shankaracharya of Dakshinamnaya Sri Sharada Peetham will be the Mahasamrakshaka for this center.
During the discussion P.M Modi stressed how to eradicate poverty,malnutrition and other ills in the society. And he was happy to recive reports of how Santh Samaj has been working in above mentioned fields to help the needy and poor.
Sri Ravindrapuri, president of Akhila Bharata Akhada Parishat, Sri Chidambarananda Saraswati swamiji of Mrutyunjaya Ashram Haridwar, Sri Govinda Devagiri treasurer of Ramjanmabhoomi tirthakshetra trust were in the delegation led by Sri Shankara Bharati Swamiji.
