The 5th Annual Toronto Diversity Festival is scheduled from August 25, 26, to 27, 2022, as we celebrate Canada’s cultural kaleidoscope through an array of entertaining arts and culture performances.
MARK YOUR CALENDARS:
Thursday, August 25, | 6 pm to 9 pm.
The festival kick-off event at the City Hall, Nathan Philips Square.
Friday, August 26 | 12 pm to 4 pm.
On day 2 of the festival at Scarborough Bridlewood Mall, 2900 Warden Avenue, Scarborough, TDF will engage various subject matter experts and community members in a series of panel discussions on diversity, equity, accessibility, and inclusion topics.
Saturday, August 27 | 11 am to 10 pm.
The main festival will take place in the heart of Downtown Toronto, at Nathan Philips Square. The festival will feature some of the best Canadian and International artists and performances showcasing an eclectic fusion of South Asian, Afro-Caribbean, Chinese, Filipino, and Arab arts, culture, heritage, food, music, and much more. Drawn from both inside and outside the Ontario community, artists, composers, bands, performers, and participants and beyond will converge for a celebration of creative culture.
Also, exhibitors will sell clothing, jewelry, paintings, handicrafts, and food. In addition, the festival will include various FREE participatory activities for all ages to enjoy, including cooking demonstrations, interactive workshops, competitions, a kid’s play zone, and more.
To celebrate diversity in the Toronto region, Moksha Canada Foundation strives to recognize unique differences across cultures by recognizing the many cultures and lifestyles represented in the area. We are all one, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, age, physical abilities, religious beliefs, political beliefs, or other ideologies.
