The stars of Nawab Malik once again did not favour him and he has been sent to 14 days judicial custody by a Special PMLA court in Mumbai.
On 23rd of February, Maharastra’s Minister and NCP leader Nawab Malik is being clutched by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with Dawood Ibrahim money laundering case. Reportedly Enforcement Directorate reached at Nawab Malik’s residence at 7 AM today and took him to its office for questioning in a case related to underworld property. It was alleged that Malik in connivance with D-gang members i.e. Haseena Parker, Salim Patel and Sardar Khan hatched a criminal conspiracy for usurping a prime property in Mumbai, lawfully belonging to one Munira Plumber and her mother.
On 3rd of March, a Special Judge (PMLA) had extended Nawab Malik’s remand to the Enforcement Directorate (ED) till March 07, 2022. On 7th of March, he was presented before the Special PMLA (Prevention of Money Laundering Act) Court by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). The Special PMLA court has now decided to send Maharstra Minister and NCP leader, Nawab Malik to 14 days judicial custody. The special judge said ““Prima facie, there are reasonable grounds to believe that the accusations are well-founded under PMLA. The investigation is at the nascent stage. Having regard to the serious allegations and statements in support of it, I am of the considered view that custodial interrogation of the accused is necessary to unearth all the ramifications involved in the crime….”,
