Now you have nothing to steal Krishna

I am letting fall

The last garments of light

With my shame

The lamp is out

And the charred wick has donned

The mantle of night

Falling as curls

On your face Keshava

Self-awareness expands

Into self-oblivion

She who loved you

And she whom you loved

Was only the glow

Of a lamp shimmering

And slowly the sheaths

Are falling away

The black shade

Is so intense Ghanshyama

It is deep blue

As the night full of laughter

Piles them one by one

On every trace of ray

Its clouds gathering deeper

With each unseen wave

And as I pass

Into your hue

All these your names

I travel through
