There has always been an attempt to showcase Sufism as the most peaceful side of the most peaceful religion on earth. Historians and Intellectuals from “Nehruvian Marxist bent of mind have tried tooth and nail to turn the background of Sufism in Bharat from red to white and to be honest they have very much succeeded in doing so. It is modern Hindus who are more devoted to Dargas than muslims. While Wahabi muslims stand stiff against going to dargas because Islam categorizes idol worship as “shirq”, it is Hindus who have kept the Sufi tradition alive in India by visiting and donating to Ajmer as well as most other dargahs. A tradition which has always wanted to convert them. People devoted to Nehruvian Marxist dispensation have misled Hindus and made them believe that Sufi “Saints” love hindus and their traditions and does not look up to Hindus with hate eyes which factually doesn’t hold a single mole of truth.
History describes Sufi “Saints” with red (blood) and black (hate) paint. Islamic scholar Aziz Ahmad says “In Indian sufism anti-Hindu polemics began with Muin al-din Chishti. Early Sufis in the Punjab and early Chishtis devoted themselves to the task of conversion on a large scale.” Sufism is just a sophisticated looking tool developed in order to give a pace the conversion rate. Nizamuddin Auliya who is regarded as a great spiritual figure actually thought that Hindus could not get Allah’s grace and could not be easily converted until they were in the company of some Muslim fakirs and saints for a long time. Sufi “Saints” started following the Bhartiya traditions to lure Hindus. They started imitating the Guru Parampara of Hindus and tried to spread the message of Sufism through songs and literature which could connect to the masses but the Islamist mindset never changed. Sufism is nothing but an enemy to Hindu culture who is covering it’s intentions with Bhartiya clothings. Amir Khusrau & Ziauddin Barani were disciples of Auliya but were deeply fanatic. The point here is: all the four Sufi Silsilas (Chishtiya, Suhrawardy, Qadiri, Naqsbandi) have an agenda against non-Muslims.
But still Ajmer dargah and songs like “Khwaja mere Khwaja”, “Kun Faya Kun” manages to find a place in the wishlist of Indians.
