On reaching the clock tower, the protesting Namazis created a ruckus and sloganeering, after which the police removed them from there by lathi-charge. After the lathi charge, a stampede broke out among the protesters.

At the same time, the shops of Ghantaghar and Nehru Market were also forcibly closed. During this, the protesters also vandalized two wheelers. The police have also arrested some protesting Namazis. At the same time, the market which was forcibly closed is being reopened by the police administration. Now the situation is completely under control.

On the other hand, hundreds of people gathered in Atala area after Friday prayers in Prayagraj. Raising slogans, the protesters demanded action against Nupur Sharma. The security forces lathi-charged the protesters to disperse them. In response, the protesters pelted stones. Police has barricaded all around, Police PAC and Rapid Action Force are present on the spot. There is also a report of a PAC truck set on fire. Stone pelting is taking place from the houses, due to which the police are facing problem in Atala area.

raised in Moradabad. Similarly, in Moradabad too, after the Namaz, the crowd demonstrated against the government. During this, slogans of ‘Nupur Sharma ko hanging’ were raised. There is tremendous anger here about the arrests being made in the Kanpur case. After Friday prayers, the crowd raised slogans against the government in Galshaheed and Mughalpura areas.
