The self-proclaimed human rights champion, Yogendra Yadav who jumps into every cause or even helps in manufacturing many for getting public mileage was fully aware of a ghastly gang-rape by Aam Aadmi Party leaders of a young woman from Bengal who came to Tikri Border at Delhi for joining the “farmer protestors”.

According to the Dainik Bhaskar report, Yogendra Yadav, a non-farmer ‘farmer leader’ who is a member of the Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) was well aware about the gang-rape but did not inform the police.

The victims father reportedly mentioned that Yogendra Yadav was told about the incident, yet he did nothing, neither did he inform the police. Yogendra Yadav was reportedly in touch with the victim from April 24th and was in complete knowledge of the young woman’s suffering.

Should Yogendra Yadav not be booked for hiding a heinous crime as it is his duty to legally inform the police and get the perpetrators arrested.

The woman died of Covid on Apri 30th. The matter came to light when her father filed a complaint of rape against two AAP leaders, Anup Singh Chanauth and Anil Malik. An FIR has been registered under various sections of the IPC for custodial rape, outraging woman’s modesty etc.

As per the complaint, on April 10th, the 25 year old woman came to Tikri border from West Bengal with a group to join the so-called farmers’ protest. On 26th she was admitted for showing Covid symptoms and she died on April 30th.

The father has named six people in his complaint. Two of whom are Aam Aadmi Party leaders viz. Anil Malik, Anup Singh Chanauth and other two men are Ankur Sangwan and JKagdish Singh Barar. Two women, Kavita Arya and Yogita Suhag, are named in the complaint who are accused of pressurising of the young woman to remain silent about the gangrape.

Should not Yogendra Yadav be also prosecuted for remaining silent and trying to hide the heinous crime of gangrape? And why is the mainstream media and feminists silent about this matter? Are certain crimes kosher? Is it like the ISIS ideology where women are supposed to submit themselves to rape to satisfy the terrorists’ carnal instincts for establishing an Islamic Caliphate?
