When the accused of riots in the capital Delhi was released on parole for four hours, he was welcomed like a hero. This is the same person who pointed a pistol at the police constable and his picture became quite viral. The name is Shahrukh Pathan. This 23-year-old man has been accused of being involved in riots during the Anti-CAA Protest in Jaffrabad. Now people’s anger has erupted on its latest viral video. The matter is of 23 May. Shahrukh had reached home to meet his 65-year-old ailing father. The riot accused, who came home in police custody, was welcomed by his supporters as if a celebrity had come. Slogans were raised in the street and there was an uproar. Whereas the court had given him only four hours of parole.

People seem to be celebrating happiness, people are sharing many videos of him on social media. In a video, he is also seen greeting his people by waving their hands while going to the police car. People are expressing displeasure at the people of the community for what example they are setting. In this way, what will be achieved by placing the accused of riots on his head. Actually, it is clearly visible in the viral video that Shahrukh Pathan comes in the street surrounded by his supporters. People shout slogans to express their happiness on his return. People follow him after he reaches the street. Pathan was arrested on 3 March 2020 from Shamli district of UP.

The photo of Shahrukh taunting the head constable Deepak Dahiya went viral. In that viral picture, Shahrukh is seen in a red t-shirt and blue jeans. He also fired during the Delhi riots. However, his lawyer had claimed that Pathan did not intend to kill the police and had opened fire in the air. Now people are narrating him a lot on Grand Welcome. In one video, he is seen smiling while setting his hair. Some people are also seen taking videos and selfies.

In March, Shahrukh Pathan’s petition for interim bail was rejected on humanitarian grounds . On March 22, he was granted custody parole so that he could be present in the hospital for the time of his father’s angiography. Later, the court granted four-hour custody parole to Pathan on humanitarian grounds. This time Shahrukh had filed a fresh application to meet his father and said that he could not meet his father in the hospital.

While granting parole for four hours, the court had said that Shahrukh Pathan should be taken to his house in Ghonda and he can meet his parents. The court had made it clear that custody parole is being granted only for meeting the parents at home and not for meeting other people. The Sessions Judge had said in the order that it is true that the allegations against Shahrukh Pathan are very serious and his bail applications filed in the present and other cases have been rejected many times. However, he has filed the current application to meet his father, who is a senior citizen of 65 years and is suffering from various ailments.
