While everyone is mocking the liberal claim of the presence of a fountain in place of a shivling that is found in the wuzukhana of Gyanvapi mosque as they cannot see the cement structure at the tip of it. They are too naive to understand that Aurangzeb who actually demolished the temple to make a progressive structure such as the Gyanvapi mosque had creative ideas of building a fountain at a time when electricity wasn’t invented.
The claim may raise various questions, but this is the fact that Aurangzeb has already invented electricity. Yes, while these Hindus keep on mocking the claim of the fountain in the wuzu khana of Gyan Vapi mosque they must know that in one of the confessions of Thomas Alva Edison, he has mentioned that it was Aurangzeb from whom he plagiarised the idea of electricity. He has confessed in one of his write-ups that when Aurangzeb was on the way with his elder son to Cornell University, Edison noticed this brown gentleman in a royal gown and robe embedded with jewels, seem like a richer man.
Thomas confessed that he had a conversation with Aurangzeb and there within some conversations he realised that he can invent something like electricity inspired by the fountain concept of Aurangzeb.
Edison has penned down the actual event as, “Aurangzeb once took his elder son for his admission in Cornell University. There he saw stagnant water in swimming pools and ponds. So his son said what is the use of this stable water here. And the great Aurangzeb replied, “they don’t have great fountains like our mosques have”. I wondered what a fountain was. But then heard that they’ll build great fountains here. Then I saw Aurangzeb ordering his architect to design mosques and fountains for that place. But the plan couldn’t succeed because he couldn’t live there for long for habitat reasons. While going back they forgot the blueprint and I had the opportunity to introduce something great for America.”
With such great talent and farsightedness in that era, we fail to recognize the contribution of Aurangzeb in science and technology and the comfort we have today, especially this bigot Hindutva people who always blame the great ruler for every controversy happening around them.
